I have always enjoyed the romantic song ‘At Last‘ made famous originally by American blues singer Etta James and I was saddened to read that she passed away last week. This song has often been played for a couples’ first dance at weddings and once you listen to the words you will know why.
The choice of song for that special moment when you step onto the dance floor for the first time as husband and wife, is of course a very personal one, but at Celebration House we often get asked for ideas on this subject and just for fun, instead of picking popular songs, we have composed a list of classic numbers that we think have withstood the test of time.
